Current Goals for the Robot

  • High Speed
  • Go Under the Trench
  • Climb to Level 2 rather then 3
    • Use a Setter L1 for Climbing?
    • We can also use A hook and weigh to clear the First Level of Climbing rather then using Arms
    • we can also use pneumatic at the end to active after the driver lose control to get a free last minute points
  • A Fix Shooter?
    • Pros its simple to built and code (less Complex)
    • Cons is that it doesn’t have the free range like a Turret and you need to move the whole thing if being defended by
  • Maybe use a Dye Rotor for a hopper to collect and shoot balls
  • we are look to get 45-50 balls in the Hopper

Game Plan

  • For Defence we can block the Trench preventing the Robot from going though it
  • During Collection we can also shoot to our side just not into the net
  • Shoot while moving could work so its harder for the other team to block
  • You can also shoot while climbing without people blocking you
  • an air pneumatic can be used so that you can have the ability to climb even when time is up because it can move without player action
  • during auto, a good spot to shoot is the upper left where the ball are to they can easily climb and collect at the same time.
  • its possible that rather then collection and shooting, we could shoot the balls to a player then put them in the human loader
  • We can also just shoot to our side and allow more time for defending
  • The Total Amount of Points we can get from Climb is limited (45 Points) compared to Shooting so it might be a better idea to focus on shooter over it
